#35 - Jim Nance, RB We have seem many a running back on this countdown so far. How many of them have been consistently good? Eh, not too many of them. Most of them flamed out after a year. Not Jim Nance; he had TWO great seasons. After a rookie season in which he only ran for 311 yards, Nance broke out for a league leading 1,458 yards and 11 touchdowns in 1966. In 1967, Nance had another very good season, leading the league in rushing yards again with 1,216. He also rushed for seven touchdowns. However, in his final five seasons in the league, he topped 600 yards only once. Nance is the only American Football League player to rush for over 1,400 yards in a season. He was the AFL MVP in 1966. Follow @SamPericolo for the latest on sam-pericolo.weebly.com
